The antipasti as an appetizer were great, the main courses also tasted. The risotto was a bit too hard to sell, but that is a matter of taste. We've been waiting for dinner for a long time. Everything came at the same time. The wine recommendation was good, but there was only one bottle per wine. This is unfavourable for a group of 8 people.

However the unique quality of the place is the foo... read more Discreetly located in PB, this unassuming restaurant has a wonderful selection of wines from which to choose. However the unique quality of the place is the food. Unlike so many establishments where the flavour of the menu descriptions is let down by the reality, within Herr Rossi the meals far outweigh their description. Probably some of the finest food served in Berlin, each element of the main course was superb in its own right, whether the meat, the sides or the sauce. It was a joy to slow down and enjoy each forkful. Gary the owner and chef explained that the menu continually rotates which for clientele is, I guess, an added benefit. As a frequent visitor to Berlin, I will ensure that I return to Restaurant Herr Rossi on each occasion. I would add that all the staff are both professional and pleasant and add to the relaxed ambiance of this wonderful restaurant. Lastly don’t forget to sample the bread and olive oil, the latter being some of the very best I have ever tasted.
