Well, here it is: shabby but original interiors, nice but not "sorry, we are all snotty models"-gay staff, a relaxed atmosphere and drinks with some volume. It is all here: Hafen (German for "harbour") has a total self-designed atmosphere, draws guys of all ages and is chatty and fun. We had no idea we were there on a regular night, that suddenly started a "schlager"-disco-thing (schlager is the German version of German **** but somehow liked music.. ). The backroom became like a teenager's "my first party"-event with a discoball and Germans jumping up and down singing strange songs. Very fun, great atmosphere, very drunk. They even had a cellar bar like my dad built in the 70ies were you sit on stairs and could smoke. It was an experience and my boyfriend said: "so this is where these gay German calculators suddenly start to breathe" (well he is Italian, so everyone in Germany and the UK for him is not passionate or talkative or loud enough... ).If you want something else and probably hook up with a 25 year old wearing Mascara and a see through-shirt: this is your place. Also, if you just want to have a fun drink with nice people.
