We vis... read more This restaurant was truly the highlight of our trip to Berlin. The service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. We visited for the Valentine’s Day menu, and every course was exceptional. The Jerusalem artichoke soup was silky and full of flavor, the venison perfectly cooked and wonderfully succulent. Dessert was pure luxury, and to top it all off, we were surprised with the best passion fruit and white chocolate pralines we have ever tasted. Everything was super tasty and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

Started with the cauliflower soup and then on to the Pike-Perch which was my first experience of this fish. Cooked to perfection with a rissotto and salad. Finished with a Kefir ice cream which was both delicious and very filling.

After strolling through the back courtyards, it’s the perfect spot to sit down for a meal in a classy setting. Definitely a highlight during my visits to Berlin.

The waiter seemed convinced tha... read more We had a confirmed reservation via OpenTable, yet from the very moment we entered the restaurant, chaos and confusion took over. The waiter seemed convinced that we were “already seated” somewhere else, which was simply untrue. After some awkward back-and-forth, it turned out they had mixed up our reservation. As a result, we were placed in a darker, less pleasant section of the restaurant, despite being among the first guests to arrive. What followed was even more telling: before anyone bothered to take our order, the same waiter managed to serve two other couples — both German-speaking — first. We were apparently invisible. After about 5-7 minutes, the waiter suddenly remembered us. Another 5 minutes later, we finally received water. We placed our order, and after 45 minutes of waiting, the only thing that appeared were three cold bread rolls. Even pouring olive oil was done by the waiter himself, as if it were a rare privilege. When we politely asked about our Wiener Schnitzel — especially after noticing that two nearby tables had already paid and left — another waiter responded with an arrogant attitude, insisting it was “impossible” that we hadn’t been served. Only after two waiters compared notes did they admit that “someone made a mistake.” Most likely, the order was never entered into the system — clearly, the focus was elsewhere. As compensation, without any sincere apology, we were offered… free water. That was it. The schnitzel itself, when it finally arrived, was just okay, served with uninspired sides. Given the situation, offering a dessert, coffee, or a meaningful price reduction would have been the bare minimum. None of that happened. Overall, the service felt dismissive, chaotic, and unprofessional. The waiters seemed to struggle more with their own attitudes than with taking care of guests. Not recommended.
