Went for traditional bier and got it. I went for dark bier and my partner enjoyed a decent Italian red wine. Snacks were great, and cheap. Service with a smile. Perfect for drinks!
Hackendahl is a great locals pub I always look forward to visiting on any holiday I take to this most eclectic of cities. The interior is awesome, vintage decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar, it's a bar with a unique look. We were here on a Thursday evening, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who served us a beer each,we took our beers outside were we luckily managed to get a table, we just chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. These are the type of pubs that bring me back to Berlin year after year,authentic, traditional pubs offering a warm welcome. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Hackendahl is easy to locate along Frierichstraße . Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, 4pm till 2am. Saturday Sunday, 6pm till 2am. A great pub,well worth checking out if your in the area.
Nice atmosphere, feels like an old pharmacy. Menu contains 3,5 pages on Gin, 2 on whiskey/ bourbon and much more. Competent staff, service minded and genuinely interested in their work. Was there with several colleges from Sweden, and all felt like visiting again and on our stay in Berlin, we only regret not finding this place before the last evening, all would love to come back.
Barman made sure my glass was always full of beer. So nice atmosphere and really good service. Thnx for evening!
Nice pit stop after visiting the nearby Berlin Wall museum. Mellow atmosphere, plenty of seating, good music, huge drink list and reasonably priced beer. Near train station and bus lines.

Cozy ambience and delicious beer. Prices are perfectly fine too. Completely atypical in Berlin: service was really nice and friendly; Would love to come back! (Original Gemütliches Ambiente und leckeres Bier. Preise sind auch vollkommen in Ordnung. Vollkommen atypisch in Berlin: Bedienung war richtig nett und freundlich ; Komme gern wieder!

The best place to be:
This place is so chilled, relaxed and quirky. The building, the decor, the furniture has so much character. Both old and young, professional and hippie hangout there. The bar small but has a huge and a very interesting and impressive gin selection. It is a must-visit place for gin lovers like me, but if you don't like gin, don't worry, they have plenty of beers too.
