Unfortunately there is no more garduda. it was our stammasiate and eating and the service were really good. we have celebrated many famieli festivals there and we have also come to other occasions.
We went to this place for a quick dinner. the buffet did not like us so well, we ordered a few different things to taste. I found the kitchen a bit similar to the Thai. I have to say it was all very good. only problem was that warsteiner beer that was not cold enough. the place is simple, the prices are very reasonable.
The garuda is a small inconspicuous restaurant in a crossroads of the rheinstraße in friedenau. the local is quite simple. the local refers to the kitchen in singapur. on Friday and Saturday evening a buffet "all you can eat" is offered for 11 euro. We have chosen from the card, a suppe, early rolls, various main dishes and dessert. Everything has tasted well, especially the duck was really delicious. with drinks we have paid less than 25 euro per person. The atmosphere is simple, the service is very friendly. The next underground station is Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz (u9), from there it is too foot 5 minutes through the Schmargendorfer road.
- you rarely find, but here in garuda! delicious, authentic and also other dishes such as the crispy duck on cot are recommended. the service polite and friendly could not be better. I lived in friedenau, this restaurant would be my kantine!
Asia restaurants are fashionable, but Singapore cuisine is already a bit rarer. here they are (and other Asian dishes) in good quality and at affordable prices. friendly, courteous service, quiet atmosphere. only the ambiente of the restaurant leaves something to be desired: it reminds a little of a waiting room.
