Was Anonym at Galeries Lafayette a mag?
We enjoyed a small dinner of pea soup for myself and sausage and potato salad fir my husband. The service wasn't quick but the food, drinks and atmosphere were wonderful. Try the apple strudel.... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Galeries Lafayette:
This place doesn’t offer anything special or extra that you can’t find elsewhere in the city. It could be a good choice for buying chocolate and wine gifts, but its expensive. View all feedback.

This review is for their lunch. It's by the internal glass vortex at the bottom. Their quiche is delightful and their salads excellent. Fine service, too.

You know what's so great about Berlin? I can get my foie gras at an authentic Parisian shopping mall. If you've been to Paris, you've probably shopped at Galeries. The high end store is known for crystal jewelry and expensive goods (clothes, bags, etc! I'm not much of a shopper when it comes to clothing or accessories, but I do love bringing home gourmet stuff for the kitchen. You can sip on fine Ruinart champagne or even have a glass of Bourdeux after browsing around as the bar set up is right here front and center. (Good marketing strategy? While I stood there for awhile deciding which brand of foie gras to take home, ultimately, I went with dependable Rougie. I love their black truffle flavor one too! and even for only a 1 oz. jar, the price is only 12 euro. You'll inevitably end up at the Gendarmenmarkt area if visiting the konzerthaus or the church. It's easy to head over to the other side of the street to check out Galeries. If you need to take the Ubahn, get off at Französische station. Happy shopping!

I love Galeries Lafayette. It's my favorite Parisian store that is a chain. They have gourmet items and fine spirits. Foie gras, champagne, red wine, white wine, premium vodka, chocolates, macarons, handmade candies, preserves, jellies, Fleur de sel, baking products, Le Creuset cookware. I liked the olive oil bottles they look like fancy soap bottles. They also have fresh fruits, veggies, cheese, meat, etc. Fill up a picnic basket and go to a park. I was tempted to buy the 5kg jar or Nutella but my luggage was already overweight. So, I ended up just getting a few items, black truffles and foie gras. Yuuuum!!!
