sad to say, but it is really a greasy spoon. fairly cheap austrian/bavarian food, but not good. probably the worst käsespätzle i've ever had. and the place is dark and dingy. View all feedback.
Delicious carving (massive helps) served by a very friendly (not always totally organized) staff.
Very cozy and authentic looking restaurant with beautiful personal and great eating. the carving was amazing, soft and tasty (although a word of warning, the great version of it is huge we spent a great evening here and would definitely come back. Also...mindful that the tax is not included in the trips in the menu, they expect to add another 20% to the bill.
We flew to tegel, dropped our bags in the hotel and then made a beetle for felix Austria. this place is always consistent and eating is great. they can actually hear that they knock the carving in the kitchen. always a pleasure and see them. at our next visit.
This place is really unassuming and came on recommendation of a German friend. We were a little hesitant when we first arrived and were walked through the kitchen to our table (in hindsight, it’s because we went to the wrong entrance) and met with a...fairly small, quaint dining room, but this was soon forgotten by the excellent service (perfect English if you don’t speak German) and great food. Really reasonable prices too, and large range of Austrian beers and food. Will DEFINITELY go again if I return to Berlin 5
It is always a pleasure and a wonderful experience to dine at this unique, neighborhood restaurant. We travel all over Berlin and eat and drink everywhere, but FA remains one of our all-time favourites. This time, the Schnitzel with Pfferling creme-sauce was the best we...had in Berlin (and we had many). We always eat inside and love the quaint interiors. Staff is always friendly and attentive. FOOD EXCELLENT!
