This was our first night out, so after some minute walk from our hotel, we came to this restaurant, sitting on the corner of Friedrichsberger and Friedenstrasse... read more This was our first night out, so after some minute walk from our hotel, we came to this restaurant, sitting on the corner of Friedrichsberger and Friedenstrasse. The interior is like in any given fancy-wannabe Chinese restaurant, but maybe it was also the staff...that made us feel that way.They were all rather poker-faced, not unfriendly, but not particularly helpful, either. The meals some beef with rice, pizza tonno and risotto Erdton were alright, each priced at euro, and the beer was ok, too. Did not leave us craving to come there again, though.

This did raise caution about the standard of food/service etc.... read more The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived, in fact, my partner and I were the only customers. This did raise caution about the standard of food/service etc. As we were hungry and it was close to our hotel, we thought why not. Our waitress...was attentive and helpful, not overly friendly but she recommended a wonderful dish. Once our food had arrived we were pleasantly surprised with such tasty, flavorful dishes. This was the best meal we had over the whole of our trip! Reasonably priced and a lovely calm atmosphere. Great romantic meal for our first night in Berlin.
