We had lunch at this restaurant. The food was quite average and it felt like just a typical hotel restaurant, nothing extraordinary. We decided to skip dessert as it didn't seem very appetizing. While the price was reasonable, overall we were left disappointed and wouldn't choose to dine here again.
Don't come expecting a smoky bar and huge grilled steaks - this restaurant is anything but that. It's modern, stylish, and offers a unique take on German-inspired cuisine. The cocktails are exceptional, made with a wide variety of spirits and crafted with care. The food is delicious, with unexpected twists that are definitely worth sampling. This is not your average hotel restaurant - it's a standalone destination that truly stands out.
The lunch is almost always recommended..The card can be viewed on the Internet. The service is always friendly and competent..The courtyard in summer a tip... amidst the city and yet far away..A hidden place just
Very refined dishes, excellent ingredients a great, original culinary experience in a very well-maintained ambience!

The visit to the Duke restaurant was okay. From the menu above all the first gear came out. Price performance is ok and we had a good evening, although no gustatory high flights (breton sardine outside). For the grip after a star, however, I still have to think about it – if this is desired... Read more...

We stayed at the Ellington Hotel over New Year and chose to eat at Duke on the 31st. There was a special 5 course menu with wine pairing flight. Food was excellent tasty, satisfying. There was great attention to detail without being fussy. Service was superb. Overall excellent experience and value. Highly recommended will definitely return. Ate here once during my weekend in Berlin, sad to say it was my last night in Berlin, otherwise I would have eaten here more times!
We had to wait 10 minutes before anyone asked us about our reservations, and then someone came but didn't even check our names on the system. The place was as loud as a soccer game. We had to wait 15 minutes more minutes without anyone offering us even water or the menu. We eventually left without ordering or eating anything. It was an extremely disappointing way to celebrate my birthday, for which I came all the way from Israel. On a Friday night in Berlin, you can imagine that we couldn't find another decent place to have dinner.
Totally satisfied with their service and food. Schnitzel and the rolled beef steak was so good!
We had an amazing night here during our stay in Berlin! We had the five course menu which included a glass of wine each. It was a terrific experience and a great way to taste different wines from around the region. Food was delicious and interesting. From small entries to more elaborated main courses. The dinner goes long since it is a slow-paced kind of dinner. Courses appear at your table in around 30-40 minute intervals, so be ready to be there for a long time if you go with this option. We didn’t mind it at all since we were having a great night my girlfriend and I just chatting about our experiences so far visiting Europe, and enjoying good wine. Overall take the time and make a reservation to visit this place. You might want to slightly dress up with a shirt and a jacket.

Did the Ellington know about a short stay. At the bar had all the delicious food that left the kitchen to watch. This time I wanted to try this food. For a given reason, now my wife and I have chosen the 6 courses menu. 89 €. 2 courses were a clear 10 out of 10: Berliner Gänseleber, pochierte Kalbsfilet, both really great. 2 courses were 8 out of 10. Also very good, but not as sensational as the two upper ones. 2 were only one 6 for us. It wasn't our taste. It's difficult to eat. Everything was very beautiful and ingenious. The portions were manageable, but at 6 gears they were right. Were tired, could enjoy everything, did not have to stuff. It wasn't so much. The service very attentive and nice. But what happened on both dates, part of the food is prepared in an open kitchen, it was always quiet, the staff worked quietly. It was just pleasant. Didn't smell like a kitchen at all. For us a great evening in a great ambience, the Duke and the Ellington just tell us about the design very much. It's like eating a lot of taste. I'm sure we'll go again for a special occasion.
Advice on the individual dishes was inadequate. Operation was too casual. Menuecompilation could have more variations. Wine was very good but too expensive! Price-performance ratio was not right.
We eat. Food is really average. It's a hotel restaurant, nothing special. We didn't eat the dessert because it wasn't very good. The price is okay, but I wouldn't go back. Disappointed.
