This local Italian place is right up the street from the Hotel am Borsigturm. It is one of the few nearby places open on Sunday so I always find myself there when I'm visiting Berlin. The staff are friendly and helpful (and likely to break...More
Large Italian with a good choice of Italian food. especially the pizza and pasta taste really good here and are typical Italian. the service is very nice and we have a grappa at the end of the house. the restaurant is completely ok. here you can get here
We were always very happy with don guiseppe. we were disappointed at our last visit. the pizza of my partner was corrupted with a cheese right. my sponge fillet was hardly visible on the teller. the prices have attracted, but the shares become smaller. on request I was given the future if I want more, I have to pay more. Hello. we will not find that anymore.
Poor service; three drinks and a meal were brought incorrectly, and a side salad was completely missing. Friendly but incompetent service; the food wasn't great either; not recommended. Sorry.
I had the grilled trout with side dishes from the lunch menu. The trout, along with potatoes and salad, was very good, although the salad had almost no dressing. I received vinegar and oil upon request. The service left much to be desired. Although she greeted me warmly as I walked through to the courtyard, the menu, excluding the lunch specials, didn't arrive for five minutes. I also had to ask for cutlery, and my drink order was taken twice. The restaurant wasn't full; only three tables were occupied inside and two outside. Two couples arrived after me and were served immediately. Despite being busy several times in the courtyard, she never asked if everything was alright. The trout didn't come with brown butter, but rather a mixture of oil, garlic, and herbs. Melted butter was promptly provided upon request. It took a very long time before I could pay. Even though I had my wallet out, she disappeared again as soon as I brought the bill. There was nothing before or after the meal, as is typical at an Italian restaurant. I appreciated the quick arrival of the food and the wide variety of asparagus dishes beyond the usual ones. The toilets in the basement, accessible via a steep staircase, were clean. However, I didn't feel comfortable dining there alone.
