Breakfast amazing and most staff friendly although a reluctance to speak English like Russia Hilton. I was charged adult prices for my 15 year old son who wasn’t allowed to use the gym at 6’3 as an athlete at home this rule needs changing , a disappointing stay over all I won’t go back and wouldn’t recommend Hilton Berlin

This was a wo... read more We stayed here for 5 nights using points. We were greeted in our room by special treats and more treats were provided for our son's 16th Birthday. This was a wonderful greeting The room was functional. The pillows were not even our son complained about them. I liked that a small light turned on in the bathroom when the door was opened. The executive lounge is too small. One night they opened an extra larger space, that was the only time we did not have to ask for a place to sit. One night we moved into the restaurant and that was akward. I saw other reviews commenting on children being present, and this was our experience as well, although for us the children were well behaved.The breakfast was a full buffet when we were there and we all liked having pretzels with our breakfast! Due to the construction our room was far from the elevator (I looked at my step app, 300 steps). This was not a problem for us, but if you do have mobility issues, you might want to ask for a room close to an operating elevator. And check out the mini bar you can get a piece of the Berlin Wall!

Unfortunately the pool was closed during my visit, however the Sauna was open to all hotel guests as a nice compromise. The room was nice and daily room cleaning is available. As others have said the personal section in the fridge is very small as the rest of the space is for the mini bar. The restaurant was nice too.
