Das Essen war jedes Mal sehr frisch (man hat den Koch in der Küche das Schnitzel klopfen hören) und regional.Man kann bei schönem Wetter entspannt im Biergarten sitzen.Preis ist gut. Servicedame mit netter Berliner Schnauze.

Obwohl die Karte noch so einiges bereit hält, was ich noch aus meiner Kindheit kenne...ich werde mich die nächsten Male da durchfuttern müssen. Das Essen ist frisch, hausgemacht, lecker und REICHLICH. Die Location ist der Hammer. Großer Garten, viel Platz, Sonnenschirme, überdachte Terrasse! Und drinnen Berliner Ambiente - urgemütlich. Bedient wurden wir schnell und umsichtig. Wir wurden bei der Auswahl des Essens beraten - der Umgang ist leger und humorvoll. Was soll ich sagen, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und pudelwohl. Mein Tipp für laue Sommerabende und solche, die preiswerte Berliner Küche genießen wollen...obwohl der Koch auch mediterran oder vegetarisch kann wie ich auf den Tellern der Anderen gesehen habe.

However, on my second visit, I ordered a crispy chicken... read more My first visit to Dittmann's was great. The service was good and the salad I got was absolutely amazing. However, on my second visit, I ordered a crispy chicken with rice and when I took a bite into one of the chicken pieces, it was completely raw! It was a horrible sensation. Our waiter, took the plate and made a face as if to say he was sorry but he never said a word. He returned about 10 minutes later with a fresh plate. This time, before eating I decided to slice the chicken piece open and the first two pieces of chicken were still raw! Unbelievable. The waiter again took the plate and we told him that this time I did not want another try. He apologised but barely. There I sat, while the others ate. I felt that the least the waiter could do would be to offer me a free desert or a coffee or something! Of course he took my meal off the bill but I doubt I will ever return (despite the tasty food) because of that bad experience.
