This restaurant is close to our apartment and we've been eating there for 6 years. Before the pandemic we ate there regularly and took family and friends when they visited from overseas. During the pandemic we bought take away often and even xmas lunch as we wanted to support our local and were concerned it may close. But since the pandemic the food and service quality has dropped. The last two times we've eaten there the schnitzels have been overcooked and burnt on the edges. We went tonight for a special birthday dinner which was a great disappointment. The food and service was very average. We gave up on ordering more drinks as the waitresses were ignoring us. The restaurant wasn't even busy. After asking for the bill and waiting for too long for it to come we had to start getting ready to leave before a waitress finally came to us. Unfortunately we will now only see the Fat Angel from the outside when walking past as we won't be eating there again.
