Chay Long - Berlin

Absolute meal of dreams. It was fresh, comforting, balanced, a little spicy. Followed our main meal with Vietnamese style iced coffee also, a game changer. Please please go, if you’re in Berlin!!! I’d travel miles to get there, again. Thank you!!

Delicious tofu! Not to mention the lovely allergy-sensitive menu that listed all allergens super clearly. Highly recommend.

The food is okay, but that's about it. The service is simply non existent. First we had to wait a long time for the menu and then another very long time to take our order, although only 3 of the tables were occupied. So there wasn't much going on. When it came to drinks, we were brought the wrong drink okay, that can happen. Then the food came. A main course was forgotten here and when it didn't come after a while, we decided to forego it. To be on the safe side, we went in again and let them know (no one came to the table the whole time, otherwise we would have asked long ago). The table wasn't cleared for ages and we waited a long time to even be able to ask for the bill. Here too we ended up going to the store ourselves to be able to pay. But then the main course appeared again on the bill, which we never got. We had to discuss this for a while and it ended with us going out to the tables to go through the plates again and see what was on them (it's a good thing that the plates hadn't been cleared away in the last half hour). I have never experienced anything so absurd in my life. Instead of admitting the mistake, apologizing for it, or waiving the drinks for the inconvenience, they simply took it off the bill and didn't say another word about it. Unfortunately, this really has nothing to do with service and we definitely won't be going back here. There are simply too many Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin that are much better positioned.

Wow! Truly the best Vietnamese place in Berlin. I've had tons upon tons upon tons of Vietnamese vegan food in Berlin, which can be hit or miss, but this one beats them all! This place feels much more authentic than the majority of what's available in Berlin, and they really care about quality ingredients, flavor and packaging! Soup is so flavorful, full of toppings and it really makes you full. Reasonably priced, too. Highly, highly recommended!

Out of this works Vegan Vietnamese restaurant, I went there thinking it was non vegan restaurant, decided to give vegan meat a try and man this restaurant surprised me! Their vegan duck was so delicious that I would eat their vegan duck over the real meat. Springrolls were also great with amazing peanut sauce. If I crave something purely vegan, I would definitely comeback to this restaurant.
