Was Nadine Kuhlmann at Chaiwala a mag?
I haven't eaten so good Indian food in Germany. At level to the best London and Mumbai restaurants! How do they make such awesome Naans? It is not a restaurant but a "fast food joint" :) View all feedback.
What Gudrun Wilke dislikes about Chaiwala:
After a long search for an authentic, tasty Indian restaurant in Berlin I thought this would be the place, after reading the other revenues, but it's not unfortunately. However if you pass by it's worth to try, the bread and the sweet potato fries are really tasty. But I wouldn't recommend the Veggi wrap - it's cold. View all feedback.
The best naan burrito I have ever had, and I have had quite a few of them back in San Francisco. I had the one with chicken and meat was tender and juicy. The naan was buttery and soft. The spice was flavorful and it has just the right amount of oomf. I would definitely come back to try their other offerings. The restaurant is small. It only has a few tables inside and 2 benches outside, so it is not the best for a big group.
Wow. I never write yelp reviews, but i feel like i have to, since this place is the absolute w o r s t. Unlike all the one star reviews i see that are based on a solitary, passing experience with a waiter or a long wait time, which doesn 't really say anything about the true quality of a restaurant, this place was just bad. First off, it 's run by a bunch of white guys, who make gangsta naanwhiches, which is a really obvious display of cultural appropriation. But ok, I was the hungry and not thinking much about the ripple effect of taking business away form real restaurants. Second, the food was actually INEDIBLE- the veggie wrap, in gross, gooey naan, was just mango, spinach, and yogurt sauce, it was sweet and horribly proportioned, and not at all Indian. The Paneer wrap was awful too- just iceberg lettuce and half-hearted paneer. How does this place have any good reviews? is it all the gimmick? We threw 11 euro worth of food away, and we 're broke. it was that bad.

Hip place. The chicken tikka naanwich was easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in Berlin, and the best thing I've tried in the last months.
