Very original. Tucked away in one of...the arches of the railway, it has a vaulted ceiling that adds to the cozy atmosphere. It is just across the bridge from the Pergamon museum but hidden away enough not to be a tourist trap. It filled up with young and middle aged patrons soon after we had picked our own seats. Many seemed to be regulars. My boyfriends Flammkuchen was thin, juicy and delishes. Usually they come on a thin but hard crust. This one was soft and juicy throughout. I tried the baked potato with home made curd cheese (Quark) with herbs and a light salad. Also very good. The menue also comes in English. Service was pleasant. All we lacked were napkins.
