Lovely ambiance in this little restaurant located... read more Visited this restaurant twice with family/friends because we enjoyed the first occasion so much had to return. Lovely ambiance in this little restaurant located within walking distance of the Schloss and easily accessed by U2 line from Sofia Charlottenburg station. Good selection of Italian dishes available and some nice wines - enjoyed the house Lambrusco, fruity/sweet. Service was warm, friendly and attentive. Food was well received particularly the antipasti mixed dish (Vorspieser). Value is reasonable and quality good. Would recommend and return to this restaurant.

However,... read more I don’t really mind the kitsch (fake brick walls, stereo playing Bella Notte and that one song from The Godfather), and the atmosphere is nice enough. However, the pizzas are quite disappointing and about on par with what I would get if I got something frozen from Lidl and just heated it up in my own oven. Bland, compact and rather thick crust without much taste or texture to it. Covered in a thick layer of the cheapest mozzarella available, everything under seasoned. Not terrible, but not very good either. At a place that claims to serve authentic Italian food, I expect way better than this.
