The mixed starter is full of delightful surprises: very simple, but executed to perfection, with different tastes bursting in your mouth. The walnut and date omelette is hands down one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten in my life. The saffron and cardamom tea was also a little gem. This place immediately made it into my top 10 favorite restaurants in Berlin. As a sweet coincidence, the soundtrack of the evening was another detail I’ll remember: dinner to the sound of Simon Garfunkel, whom I personally love. Finally, a local spot that genuinely feels authentic without trying too hard, and with no obsession with looking cool. I can’t wait to go back.
