Not a recommended place for coffee lovers. Apart from that, the tone of the (presumably) owner takes some getting used to.

Cafe Springfeld used to be an art gallery right next to the Berlin wall. The owner has been around these parts and she's happy to share stories from back in the day. Food is great, especially the quiches and soups. Go for a quiet lunch and a chat.
Needing a coffee and food, this is tucked away off the main Street opposite Axel Springer building and Berlin Wall remnant. Heidi is friendly, the coffee perfect and the quiche spaghetti filled the gap perfectly. Heidi is friendly and most interesting.
Heidi's Café is a true Berlin experience in the historical heart of the city. You can enjoy your coffee and homemade food and pastry in the calm backyard of an artsy juwel of Berlin's urban culture. Highly recommend!
