The place is really sweet and cozy, but big enough to hold a brunch crowd. my friend and I were in berlin (mai 2012) for a month and must have eaten at least three times a week in cafe september, in which regular for a late...breakfast (they are open at 10 o'clock) or early lunch. the restaurant has other offers, but its “small September” charcuterie-like teller is the best. on it is the best choice cheese, fresh fruit, and its own fennel salami among others surprises. they can also participate or complete the larger “big September” teller of the restaurant, perfect for a snack for cable or meal for one. the fresh brot is something of the best I ever had, and the kafffe cream (black coffee) with a tiny glass water is a great accompaniment.
I was there two times. I thought they had a bad day at the second time it was worse. I sat almost alone in the load and had pushed the table to the sun by a few cm. have done homework and eaten coffee and cake, the owner comes and breaks my table back without warning. I was terribly shocked and the coffee was spilled. I asked why the whole thing and the owners were cold because it is. I have never written negative reviews before, but this time it was not different. I'm totally scared about such a terrible, unfriendly behavior, just towards one.
They are in good company there, of course. in estimated 80% of the caffes in Germany you get a bad cappuccino. cappuccino is just a coffee-like drink with foam on top.But in the caffe september they are convinced that they are the most amazing.Glass water to cappuccino. ne, there is not. they like to buy a mineral water.I didn't drink the cappuccino, but just stop. was just not good. yes. I know, except me, nobody's complaining. well, it's good. so.
Inconceivable unfriendly staff! we always liked to go because it is nicely decorated and the cake tastes good. the personal was never characterized by the greatest lust, but so far was okay. then we were asked to pay at our last visit - in the middle of the conversation - and please never come again. supposedly we would not order enough per hour - and where we have always given quite generous drinking money and who really never (!) is full. sorry, but so you don't treat his (stem) guests; hospitality really looks! never again!
