Walter-Benjamin-Platz is a fantastic location so it is sad that the cafe has not risen to the same standards. From misleading table adverts to questionable service, this is one of the worst cafes in Charlottenburg. Always tables free here for obvious reasons.

The waitress is a problematic person who babbles to herself in german, when she sees that you don’t understand much. When we asked for a table to sit, she told us it would only be possible if we ate or drink something? Reading all the rest of the comments, especially about her, it is hard to relate to why they are still keeping her. She took 30 euros of cash, for a 25 euros order and didn’t give our change back. She knows noone is going to give her any tips, so she takes it this way i presume. Terrible terrible experience. I am feeling ashamed on behalf of that old lady, despite the age the way she behaves just makes me pity. Definitely a no-go and i recommend people to avoid this place among the all other ones in the Walter-Benjamin Platz.

All our food was well prepared and the prices were comparatively reasonable. Would recomend it to anyone. And I'm a fussy eater.
