But except the entries, the warmed and main dishes w... read more 13:00 Sunday 24th of August. We were two, I asked if its still possible to brunch. No problem, take a seat. But except the entries, the warmed and main dishes were no more available except some chicken wings... After eating the entries, I asked if they are going to refill the main courses. Surprise, answer "No sorry, its over"....the same for the dessert. We asked at the end for a discount. Answer : the brunch is already cheap, so pay the bill my friend. Lie & poor service. Never again.

It's... read more Sando is a nice little bar/restaurant in Friedrichshain. The Sunday brunch is a Mediterranean buffet, lots of different salads and hot food to choose from. It's a good place for dinner and/or drinks too.Service is good, staff friendly. The brunch is all-you-can-eat between 10.00 and 15.00. While in some places they encourage you to leave when you're finished (so they can seat other guests), Sando's are happy to let you linger over drinks. No rush, it's wonderful.

We first discovered i... read more Café Sando is in the less touristy part of Friedrichshain, north of Frankfurter Allee on the corner of Proskauer Straße and Rigaer Straße. We first discovered it last July as a great place to have breakfast close to the appartment. They serve various different breakfasts - I loved the one with smoked salmon - and the coffee and bread is good.Later on it is a bar with very reasonable prices and nice Berliner Pilsener, with a variety of dishes at lunch and evening, when they also have a good range of cocktails.Café Sando is a local establishment with friendly, helpful staff. Recommended.
