We were staying in room 603 of the Sir Savigny Hotel for three nights and on the morning of Saturday 28 December decided to have breakfast at the Butcher. We ha... read more We were staying in room 603 of the Sir Savigny Hotel for three nights and on the morning of Saturday 28 December decided to have breakfast at the Butcher. We had checked out breakfast times on their website which stated that breakfast ran from 7-11am (weekend). We arrived down from our room about 10:35 and sat at a high stooled table. Lifted our own menus and about 10 minutes later a young lady waitress approaches us. At this stage she pointed out that breakfast was no longer available despite the website stating differently. Instead we went across the road to a quirky coffee shop called Never ending Love Story. Don't waste your time with the Butcher and go across the road instead!! Ps. Sir Savigny Hotel fab!

Other than that the food was delicious and the service was really good

Love the place and the concept and the quality of the meat. But i have the feeling every single time they mess up at least 1 thing. I have been about 10 times a... read more Love the place and the concept and the quality of the meat. But i have the feeling every single time they mess up at least 1 thing. I have been about 10 times and was never entirely fulfilled. From broken fryers, no fish, no sweet potatoes, messed up drink orders, cold buns, broken cashier's register every single time it was one of those things. I don't know why I keep coming back. Maybe next time
