Visiting Berlin from San Francisco and was craving some Asian flare after a week of German food. Had the Original Bao (pork belly), sweet potato fries with kimchi, and tofu spring rolls. Also tried the Vegan Bao (mung bean patty). All dishes were flavorful and delicious, pork belly was tender and juicy great modern twist on Asian food.

If you ever had a pork bun or a red bean bun then you know what the bunds of these burgers taste like. The slightly sweet and steamed buns are filled with their Asian fusion versions of a burger. You can choose from pork, beef, Tuna steak, vegetarian OR VEGAN !!! burgers. I would say the only thing that I found surprising is that I think the burgers are a bit spicy for German tastes or people who can 't handle anything with heat. Which for me is fine! The atmosphere is nice and the place is decorated with various pixel art pictures. Don 't worry the menu is also in English if you can 't speak German. And they also also accept credit cards.

Longer version (for the brave we were craving for a burger but wanted something different so we decided to try this place, everybody talk about it, meaning I should be there too right? So we walked in and sat down, it was pretty empty, which means more attention for us! Yay : A quick look at the menu and I knew exactly what I want beef burger. We didn't wait for too long and it was already served to our table. First it looks great. Second it smells great. Third it tastes great. Yummy bun, chili sauce, Japanese radish, fresh cucumber (and all the stuff I asked to not put on my burger tomato, cilantro and baby spinach along with great beef all mixed to one awesome burger. As a side dish we had great sweet potato fries and regular fries, we should've stick to the sweet potato ones, they were significantly better! On the table there's ketchup mayo and chili to go along with your burger or fries. The service was really good and the price is fair, loved it.

Nevertheless, this place kept all it 's promises. I heard so much about it that I wanted to come here for so long already that I was almost worried that I might have raised my expectations too high already... When I thought about burgers I was thinking about that typical small ish place with a grill and not much more space but this place is a proper restaurant. I went inside to order my burger and then I realized that I have made a fool of myself. When I came back to my senses I noticed the great, crazy and colourful interior. It looks great. There is plenty of outside seating as well and with the weather like today sitting outside was a must do... And I can people watch which is one of my favourite things to do when exploring restaurants on my own... Let 's get down to business the food. I attached pictures of the menu if you want to see all they have to offer but for me it was enough to look at the recommendations and I ordered the Korean Bang Bang without hesitation. I did not order any fries but the Parmesan FRIES with Chili Sauce sound delicious! When the burger arrived it looked FANTASTIC and tasted just as good. The meat looked thick and juicy and all the salad stuff just seemed in the wrong place at first but from the first bite I knew that they were just where they belonged... This burger had a little bite to it because of the Kimchi which I actually quite enjoyed. It was not a busy time when I went so it was not a huge challenge for the service but, nevertheless, the service was very friendly and completed this great restaurant experience. Loved it!

So soft on the inside that they are like mashed sweet potato; how do they even hold together? And an outside as crispy as a potato chip... I 'm drooling again just thinking about it. The sweet-n-spicy chili sauce is a perfect accompaniment, and some mayo doesn 't hurt either (I used the bottles on the table, which are free, so I don 't think I would recommend the chili mayo for 1,50€ on the menu . The classic burger is equally divine. Perhaps a wee touch too salty for my taste, but overall just killer. Sorry to all those German restaurants boasting pork of all kinds: the best pork in Berlin is HERE! So flavorful, and not just from the spices: the meat itself is superb. Mixed with a crunchy slice of radish and some cilantro, not to mention a perfect sprinkling of extra-super-toasty chopped peanuts, and you 've got heaven on a plate. My only potential quibble is that the wine was 3,50€ for 0,1 L. Does anyone actually serve 0,1 of wine? I thought 0,2 was standard. But maybe I misread the menu. Even on a busy Friday night the service was extremely friendly and decently fast (not fast, just decently fast considering the crowd . The outdoor seating area is beautifully decorated with flowering potted plants. (Only benches with no backs, so beware if you need a real chair! Wine classic burger sweet potato fries (best for 2 ppl; I couldn 't eat them all 13,80. Worth every cent.
