Loved the vibe of the place, the go... read more I have had good beer and good veggie food in many places but I think this is the first place I have been that excel in both! Loved the vibe of the place, the good and friendly service, the excellent beer and the really good...vegetarian food. If you crave meat you can have that too, but really, you don’t need it!

The food was very creative and... read more We went to BRLO for beer and dinner and were lucky enough to get a spot at a table outside, but I highly recommend reservations. The food was very creative and delicious and everything we saw at other tables looked great, too. If you want...a little bit more upscale modern European experience, I recommend the restaurant. We first had their beer at another restaurant and that beer (the Pale Ale) made me want to have more. There is also a beer garden with a limited menu of more casual food that you can order from a window. I would gladly return for any of these experiences if I am in Berlin again.

But, even before I travelled to Berlin, I was flummoxed by the menu. It's primarily vegetarian orientated, with meat as an addition. It's clear that the choices...for each part of the menu are intended to get food coming out fast, but for those of us who just like hunk of meat plus side that is a little tricky. I can't complain *at all* about the quality of the food, as it was delicious, if expensive for what it was. Towards the end of our visit, though, service became unattentive and many beers started to run out, despite it being a Saturday night. Would I go again? Yes, but only to drink. Simplify your menu, guys it's just too complicated!

After three different attempts we got the bill after being pushy with the server.

The food is extremely tasty and very creative in the use of the wonderful ingredients. Super service. Very nice beer garden. No matter who we were with, everyone was always absolutely enthusiastic. The price for excellent quality is appropriate.
