What Irmgard Sander dislikes about Bohmischer Garten:
Di... View all feedback.
We were looking forward to the visit and the food. At first we were expecting a small guest room, which was furnished like a small simple but cozy living room. The service initially friendly. You have a direct view of the kitchen. What surprised me, you hardly noticed food smell. Then the food came and thus the disappointment. Sauerbread, which was found to be simply barely spiced beef. Maybe we cooked the saucer so in Bohemia, that would be okay. The sour, was only in the sauce and caused by the Kleck's acidic cream, which was presumably given to the sauce of the beef roast, which is to say once a beef roast and once a sour roast. The cranberries expressly indicated on the menu did not even fill a teaspoon, although they really do not cost all the world. The food was good. The dumplings we didn't seem to be made ourselves, but what can fool. They didn't taste anything. First, you think good portion, as three slices decorated the plate more than filled. They do not even yield a normal meat slice and certainly do not weigh 150 grams. For that they were at most, if at all, half a centimeter thick. We wondered how a senior or even a children's plate would be. There was no talk of saturation. As a successful appetizer, it would go through. The mineral water could have been out of line. Almost no more carbonic acid, and if you think that mineral water can't be done wrong, you're wrong. The service or was it the boss? got our disappointment with us and the courtesy failed. She didn't care about us until she paid. Also good .I put the money down and also let me give out the change. We left the place without a word. Only the Thresenkraft passed us briefly and painlessly. At the neighboring table a small family sat together, which sat through the desserts. Then I wondered how to make a eggcake odorless in the pan. Never recommend again and absolutely not. Ask me if the owner or owner just wants to make a lot of money on the quick. The picture deceives from the portion and size of Berlin, fortunately, has more than one restaurant, so that you don't need it. Paper in the WC Beerich would have been nice. Is it saved? Too bad about the money that unfortunately does not grow on the tree.
A cozy place with a friendly hostess serving authentic and very tasty Czech cuisine. This also means that you should better like meat or the menu options will be limited. I can also recommend the fish. There is Czech beer on tap and for those of us who prefer wine, you have a dry and a sweet choice of both red and white wine, plus, of course, non-alcoholic beverages.
Very nice restaurant! The starter Topinky, fried bread rubbed with garlic, was crunchy and delicious. For the main course Kesselgulasch Kotlikovy gulas, the meat was tender, the sauce flavourfull and the Knödel fluffy. We had the Eierkuchen as dessert. They were tender and fluffy. The cinnamon sugar was a nice touch. The service was very friendly. I am glad such a restaurant exists in our neighbourhood :
