This is my first assessment ever. took block house with my wife with reasonable expectations based on the reviews on tripadvisor. we were greeted by a really sw... read more This is my first assessment ever. took block house with my wife with reasonable expectations based on the reviews on tripadvisor. we were greeted by a really sweet and friendly waiter and ordered appetizer and main dish with white wine as appetizer and red as main dish. shortly after, we were served both red and white wine, the appetizer and the salad for the main dish. strange composition. the red wine was taken out again. then the steak came. Both were ordered as medium. my wife got a steak that was medium and full of fat. I have one that was close to nice and far from medium. and it was filled with long and fat. the waiter brought out the steak again and I got the steak back. this time medium-rare, after that we gave up. the waiter asked if the steak had become better, which was not the case. she brought the steak and we didn't see it again. we then asked about the bill and left the restaurant. we are now sitting in another restaurant and getting good food.

Not a bad thing this time because the steak was excellent. Worth a visit if not crowded.

Price was good but that's it. Steak looked great but I've never experienced such a tasteless piece of meat. Terrible. One of the most disappointing steaks I've ever had. Don't know how they managed to make something that looked so good taste so crap. Unfortunately I was starving so I couldn't bring myself to send it back and wait for something else. Cant understand how this place is so busy. Take your time picking somewhere and just eat somewhere with a bit of quality instead of here.
