Guests should be informed that br... read more I must say, I find it unacceptable that when you reserve breakfast at the Beletage restaurant, it doesn't actually take place. Guests should be informed that breakfast is now only served in the lobby. However, the Beletage is still advertised online. I received written confirmation of the number of people and the time, but no table was reserved for us. The food itself was good, but the reservation process was poorly organized. I work in the restaurant industry myself and have never experienced anything like this.

Our first... read more Unfortunately, when we visited the Sunday buffet, for which we traveled all the way from Hamburg, the actual restaurant was closed due to renovations. Our first impression of the very makeshift solution was that of a buffet in a train station concourse. It was loud, disorganized, and disappointing. The restaurant manager seemed completely overwhelmed by the situation and was downright unfriendly to his staff. When we had a simple question about the process, we were harshly addressed and directed to the side. Only after we complained at the reception desk were we heard and shown to our seats. Overall, a very unpleasant and avoidable situation, which was then apologized for by the hotel management with a bottle of champagne. The overall impression was truly unpleasant. The tables were wobbly, the glassware was mismatched, and the chairs were worn and stained. Everything was very run-down. At least the food was okay, but not good compared to other hotels of this standard. Thanks to the staff and especially Fabian from reception, who made sure that we still had a relatively nice day.

You should also expect to wait in line for the egg dishes. However, you can mix yourself a Bloody Mary without having to wait in line.

After we... read more The Beletage restaurant at Hilton Berlin offers an incredible breakfast buffet. We stayed at the hotel after our Viking Cruise, the breakfast included. After we had the buffet at Prague's Hilton at the beginning of our trip and then the buffets on...Viking that we didn't think that another one of these buffets would offer, good, this restaurant did with its top-famous breakfast buffet. We entered the restaurant at the door and were greeted by a hostess who was very pleasant, took down our room number and told us to take every place in the dining room. We were a little surprised that we were not accompanied on our table, but this is another culture and it worked well for us. We were immediately greeted by a very professional server that brought us orange juice and coffee. The servers spoke fluent English and were all very efficient. Dirt plates were refilled between courses and coffee cups. The food was excellent with an exceptional selection of foods. The muffin of the day was excellent, the bread bakery fresh, a number of fruits, cold food, smoked fish, cheese, salads and of course breakfast sausage, bacon. The Omelett station slightly different from what we are used at home, the Culinary team prepared them on a flat grill and folded them in a square, unique. Eggs on and over simple are on a grill and you help yourself. The fresh honey comb and the honey were a real treat. One of the culinary team went through the dining room with a tray of smoothies, he had a big smile and the smoothie was delicious. This is a not missed buffet, we enjoyed the experience. Very recommended. After enjoying this excellent buffet, our next trip to a hotel in the USA will be a disappointment when we go to what we call a buffet breakfast.

I only ate breakfast here but,...it was great, and they had so much food to choose from, especially their signature breakfast muffin! That was a great muffin I highly recommend them.

The croissants and pastries were always of high quality along with some German cakes and specialties. You even had a signature muffin. There are... many tea/coffee machines over and only a lot of variety available.
