We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived and immediately felt comfortable in the restaurant. A huge compliment to the entire service team. Unfortunately, the evening was still disappointing overall. Because of the open kitchen, we could see that kitchen staff or chefs were clearly working while ill: blowing their noses and coughing while preparing food. As a guest, this is absolutely unacceptable to me. This observation unfortunately spoiled my meal, as it was hard to get what I saw out of my mind while eating. Hygiene and health should be top priorities in the restaurant industry. As much as it's a shame, because the service and atmosphere were truly wonderful, under these circumstances I can only give two stars. We won't be returning.
