Musical painting by various talented artists The service by Bilo and his colleagues is great. We stayed there twice during our time in Berlin and have both evenings in beautiful memories. At first, the service was really nice... read more A very classy-looking restaurant in itself. Right in the middle of a tourist hotspot, but the reviews were very promising. At first, the service was really nice. But when we wanted to place our order, things changed. Some of us didn 't want drinks because we weren 't thirsty (not a bad thing in my opinion), but the waitress didn 't seem to like that. All the tables around us were served bread except for ours. The food arrived after about 30 minutes and was very tasty. The prices were a bit expensive, but that 's normal for the area. When we wanted to pay, we were told that the bill couldn 't be split (not a problem in itself, but still a bit strange). When we put our money together and wanted to pay, we were told that a 10% tip would be added. When we said, Make it 5%, the only response we got was that this wasn 't possible, as 10% is always included and nothing can be done about it. In my opinion, this was incredibly rude, as unlike in other European countries, tipping isn 't mandatory in Germany. Furthermore, it wasn 't clearly marked anywhere or communicated in a timely manner. In my opinion, it was rude!
