Eat the DÜRÜM DÖNER, not Doner Kebab! It´s largest and best of all in Berlin. And I tasted really...many. Eating one should feed you well until next breakfast. If they ask you which sauce, say Kroyter which means no garlic and Scharf which means hot, and for the rest just nod your head. Outside U-Bahn U station ALT TEMPELHOF. You always have to cross the traffic lights as it is in the middle aisle of a huge crossroads. Don´t confuse it with the tiny place you might see first.

The Ber... read more First trip to Berlin another berliner fast food treat. Basically gyro meat, salad, fries, spicy garlic sauce in a flatbread/mideast tortilla kinda wrap. The Berlin super burrito! Huge portion, great value, very tasty, fresh fast food'. Balli's is a take-away grill on Temelhofer Damm,...no german, no problem, nice people. Ate this food several times during my week stay, this was the best. Note; I never tried Mustafa's Kebab, Berlin's best doner according to my local friends, as the wait was always minutes plus, this place had no line. Really different, really tasty, really fast.
