The food is amazi... read more Atayacaffe is not only a cafe as many might think, Atayacaffe is a family project that after many years became real in Prenzlauerberg, Berlin. The food is amazing, fresh, real food prepared with much love, love that you can taste from the first bite. I can only reccomend this place, splendid meal in a beautiful and cozy ambience, with african-jazz music and Betta and Bachir, as wonderful hosts speaking many languages, will make you fell at home.

What I... read more I've been coming to this wonderful place since the AtayaCaffe. Whether breakfast, brunch or dinner for me, it is by far the best vegan food in the city! What I also like is the peaceful and cozy atmosphere in the caffe. Elisabetta and Bachir have not only created a wonderful place where you can eat great, but do everything you feel like home. I go as often as I can to AtayaCaffe and look forward to the next time!

It was Sunday so we had the brunch plate and we loved it. There was some sort of misunderstanding with our booking but the staff was able to find a solution quickly. My friend asked about an item that wasn’t on the menu for that day out of curiosity and the cook made it for us. I cannot recommend it enough

The owner believes he is above the c... read more A remnant that has so far good reviews on the Internet, and after my research I doubt them very much whether they are real. The owner believes he is above the customer and does not get to read criticism. He regularly puts down criticisms instead of accepting them and vlt to work on them. All negative reviews deal with unfriendly customer service. He becomes even very cheeky and overwhelming. I had that feeling when I visited Caffè. I was working in Berlin for the weekend and wanted to celebrate the birthday of an old school friend. Since I didn't know myself in the city, I ran off a bit more timely and then was half an hour too early at the remnant. I'm in, and it's been too close to me. I've seen that there was no room to wait inside for the group, but before I sat outside I wanted to have a drink because I've been out for a long time. I went to the counter and before I could say what I'm going to be a little rough I'm supposed to wait outside. I explained that I am too early and will wait outside, but would like to have something to drink., No that is not possible it is too full that I do not get regulated at all. I offered to pay it equal to make it easier to make it easier to understand if I wait outside that it is hard to control if I really paid or maybe just disappear without paying (I would have got a water I would have just thirsted) . But the owner felt it as annoying and became more stubborn with me. I didn't want to do this disrespectful way anymore and lifted my hand to show up ok I'm going out he doesn't need to talk anymore, turned me around and put me outside on the sofas in front of the Caffè. 2min later the man came after me and told me, so you can talk to your children but not with me if they can talk to me again like this you can go. "Even if the owner repeatedly asserts I had shown an inappropriate hand gesture or insulted him, none of both agrees. I went to pay someone money for that he's only concerned me because I kindly ask for a drink and don't let me treat myself as if I asked him to give it all for free, resists me. This remnant raunt lives from a hip and therefore apparently does not place a value on customer satisfaction. I have not been able to eat food therefore 3 stars, the prices I find high-priced for Berlin relations, there are comparable kitchens in Berlin that are cheaper and offer far better customer service.
