Was Petra Mai at Alto a mag?
I had a vegeterian risotto with chanderelle mushrooms. Delicious! Just a bit expensive, but then so are most touristy places in Berlin. The best deals are in places off the beaten path. View all feedback.
What Miriam Krebs dislikes about Alto:
With this restaurant / bar being in the Adina hotel it was an easy and lazy choice when artiving late and tired. The dining experience did not do much for me with a basic menu on offer and when the meal (eventually) came I found it to be quite plain and very overcooked. Dessert of apple crumble was reincarnated in the microwave I think. Wine was OK but horribly expensive. It felt like the waiting staff were also in t... View all feedback.
We went in here the first night because it was convenient, we were tired and couldn't be bothered to go out looking for somewhere to eat. We came back twice more! The service was generally very. The menu is not huge but there is enough to choose from. I would describe the food as mid range, it was nothing exceptional, but all good and reasonable value.
Loved my Calves Liver and local beer, we all enjoyed the good quality and straightforward menu served with a smile
We came on a Saturday night during Happy Hour as we had heard that the cocktails were great. This is an understatement. The three of us ended up having 3 cocktails each and then came back the following night! They were crafted to perfection. The bartender wasn't the friendliest but our waiter was delightful. Best cocktails I have ever tasted. Every cocktail was presented in a unique glass, with a creative garnish. The flavours were well thought out - even the strangest cocktails were absolutely delightful (The beetroot, bacon, white chocolate was one of my favourites!) The selection is fantastic on Saturday nights, however, only a limited menu is offered Sundays. Although they still offer Happy Hour prices everyday 5-7pm. Well worth the visit!
Not even open. All signs in/out of hotel says it is, but only a €15 breakfast is offered via the Adina hotel. You get bread in a bag, a plate of 3 slices of cheese, prepackaged sausages hot yogurt, hot milk with corn flakes, boiled egg, juice, coffee.. that 's your options for €15 a person. Go elsewhere.
