I had the fish pakoras as starter and the chicken masala as main. Food came promptly and there was very generous portions. Both...dishes was served with salads. The fish pakora was just ok the sauces did not add much to the fish. The chicken masala tasted more like chicken tikka masala. The chicken was tender and flavoursome but there was no kick to it as a masala should have. Maybe I should have said to make it a bit hotter. The main came with rice. There are loads of seats and the ambience was nice. Food was reasonably priced

On this occasion I ord... read more On my third trip to Berlin I decided to revisit Ajanta Restaurant. I had eaten there on my last trip to Germany and had enjoyed the food. On this occasion I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, which should be familiar to anyone who has enjoyed...Indian cuisine.I also ordered some Garlic Naan bread as an accompaniment. I must say that the recipes in this restaurant are as good as any I have tasted in New York. The atmosphere and modest price point made this a great choice,and I would recommend you eat there should you be in the Charlottenberg area of Berlin

Friendly staff and the prices are really affordable by today's standards. You can also sit outside in the summer. Parking is so-so; you might have to walk a bit (50-300 meters). All in all, a great place!
