Early this afternoon, Trudel and... read more Adnan knows Berlin, and Berlin knows Adnan. His restaurant, Rossini, has the potential to become a new gastronomic Berlin hit. Early this afternoon, Trudel and I had the opportunity to get to know him. He wants to bring passion, ideas, and initiative to his new project. Lethargy, skepticism, and hesitancy are anathema to him. He 's giving himself a gift. He wants to be happy, and his guests should enjoy themselves. The German economy is better than its reputation. Why slow down when you can step on the gas? The main topic of conversation will be his menu, the quite manageable Mediterranean selection, and, above all, the prices from days gone by. The two of us enjoyed three excellent dishes each, plus drinks, for a total of €79, including tip. Where else can you find something like that? Gastronomy with passion. The guests will be rubbing their eyes in amazement. As I said, the place is called Rossini, not Adnan. He wants to stay more in the background. Let’s take a look!

I could smell a fishy odor, but I'm always too polite to send it back. It came with a teriyaki sauce that was too sweet for my taste, which another guest also thought was the same. The ambiance is top-notch.

Surprisingly, despite the set-up, the restaurant is not very noisy overall. Based on the lunch I had it seems the perfect place for a business lunch, for...example. Probably less perfect for a romantic dinner. I had lunch at Adnan yesterday and overall enjoyed the experience. The restaurant offers a lunch menu for EUR which seemed nice. Personally I opted for the salmon carpaccio (which was good) and a pizza (which was nice as well). However please note that the pizza is truly humongous (it was about of the size of our table) and could easily feed people. It was certainly too much for one person, at least in my case. Still the quality was good and if you share the quantity might not have been a problem as well. Overall I enjoyed my experience at Adnan. I would probably return for a (business) lunch if I'm in the area. It's a good Italian place, although probably not worth to cross half Berlin for it.

I had the lamb chops and the rest of the table ordered various types of pasta. We were...all very happy with the food quite delectable. For the dessert, we all ordered tiramisu which was perfectly done. All in all, we had a great experience at Adnan and I would recommend this place to others who are interested in Italian dishes in Berlin.

I had the same pasta each time during our first visit the pasta with a whole buffalo mozzarella on some cherry tomatoes, leaves the basil on a bed of crushed...tomatoes on the bottom. it was excellent. Second visit I ordered the same court. the crushed tomato bed was missing. the third one I ordered again. the cherry tomatoes and the crushed tomato bed were both missing and the dish was only spagetti, a half buffalo mozarella on the spagetti and that was not very delicious. I told the waiter about it and he did not react in any way to correct the pasta. I told him the second time, and he looked at me and said you already told me a good experience!
