I've always heard a good thing about the offshore, more often look at us on the web radio. Greetings from Hennigsdorf from Caro and Mike and from Freiburg Mike U.N.V.E.U

An institution for Union and our friends from all over the world. Remember me great moments after the Benefizspiel for Austria Salzburg a few years ago. A warning: Once you're here, it's hard to go back and sometimes remember You don't go to the evening before the next day.

Myself and 5 friends (English males aged 24-25) came to Berlin recently and went to the stadium to try to watch the football. The football was sold out, which was fair enough, so we decided to watch the match, which was being televised, in this bar. The bar was very full and there were home and away fans in the bar, the bar staff seemed friendly and we watched the first half of the match with no problems. When we went to go the toilets and outside during halftime however, we were confronted by a group (4 or 5) of locals who looked like they were in their early to mid 20s and wearing football hooligan type clothes, who asked me and my friend if we were English (their exact words were are you tommies? in an aggressive tone), when we replied yes, they grabbed me by the back of my jacket and shoved us towards the exit telling us to leave. My friends and I were slightly bemused by this and decided to leave and go back to the city center as we weren 't looking for trouble and assumed things wouldn 't go our way if any authorities were involved. I 'm unsure if the group who confronted us were already in the bar or if they had arrived at the bar after being told English people were in it, but they did seem to be on the lookout and seemed to know the answer to their question before they asked it. I should say that my friends and I had only had one drink each that day, the pint we had at the bar during the first half, and we had kept ourselves to ourselves during our time there, which made the incident even more strange. I don 't know if it was specifically English/Brits the group had a problem with or foreigners in general, but I wouldn 't advise certainly Brits to go to the bar, even if the majority of those there did seem friendly.
