Whole Donut - Berlin

This restaurant is owned by a lovely Korean family. It doesn't have the typical feel of old donut shops. I cannot stress enough how wonderful it is. The donuts are large and delicious. The best donut shop I have ever been to!

I really like Swamps, but I wish they had more sandwich options. The breakfast sandwich and coffee are good, and the service is always great. The staff is very nice.

I am thrilled to have found a delicious alternative to the commercial donut chain, DD, at this French-inspired bakery. The pastries here are incredibly light and fluffy, unlike anything I've tried before. We indulged in a box of 14 donuts (couldn't resist the extra two!) for just $13, and every penny was well worth it. In California, where the DD craze hasn't taken over yet, it seems like there's a family-owned donut shop on every corner, and the quality is top-notch. If you're lucky enough to be near this hidden gem in Berlin, CT, I highly recommend paying them a visit.

Donuts are fantastically decadent. Sometimes, although they are out of the glazed cinnamon rolls that I love and it is enough for two people! I always share my son. I'm not a fan of sugar cinnamon rolls. Too much sugar comes everywhere.
