Feedback
Nestled in a charming locale, this restaurant boasts a grand yet inviting atmosphere, ideal for both intimate dinners and group gatherings. Guests praise the delicious, generous portions of traditional dishes, such as pierogies and Krakow dinners, often complemented by attentive service. However, some have faced challenges with inconsistent hours and unexpected closures, deterring potential visits. While the food consistently receives high marks for quality and taste, the dining experience can vary, with occasional service lapses noted. Overall, it remains a beloved spot for those seeking a unique culinary experience, despite some operational hiccups.
Don’t bother coming here. Not only are they open only 3 days/week, but they close the restaurant with no warning to host events. That said, the food is good..when they are open to serve it. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I’ve been to Baltic a few times now, and I think there might be a new chef in the kitchen because the food seems to have gotten even better! The presentation was much more appealing too. I did find the pierogi to be a bit overly fried, but I really enjoyed everything else, especially the sorrel soup, which was the daily special. The pyzy was a new dish for me; it was quite heavy but absolutely delicious! The bacon on top was cooked to perfection. For dessert, we shared a crepe, which was also quite fried but still very tasty. I believe the atmosphere is the most unique among the Polish restaurants in Connecticut, and I’m really pleased to see that the food has significantly improved.
