Robin was amazingly helpful and kind throughout the process from taste testing to the wedding day. She arrived early for the wedding day and set up the whole dessert table for us and made it look stunning with fresh flowers and seashells. Seriously the best experience ever. And all the wedding guests raved about her desserts. The best I have ever had. I cannot say enough good things about this place and Robin. I would give 10 stars if I could.
As soon as you walk in the door you'll love the aroma of baking breads and cakes. Their selection of baked options is unmatched in the area. Always something delicious to try. Saturday mornings are always packed because of their cinnamon buns.
About a year ago, I discovered a quaint hidden gem that tantalizes the senses from the moment you step inside. The rich aroma of freshly baked pastries and cakes envelops you, creating an inviting atmosphere. Among their delectable treats, the chocolate cream puffs are the only item I've ever ordered. I must confess, their allure has drawn me back more times than I can count.
This one stings cause the service is awesome and the people are great. They sell bread here that if fresh and delicious, it's awesome. My issue is with the baked goods. I know we're in the US and we Americans love our sugar, but everything I've ever tasted from here is so toothachingly sweet that I can't eat it. It reminds of desserts from my childhood. Ya know, when you didn't want any real flavor other than sugar? I do a lot of baking and I'm always trying to find that perfect balance in desserts. Salty, bitter, tart, acidic, all these flavors can be used to make a great dessert. But Baked stopped at sweet, and left all other flavors on the table. That said, I think most kids would enjoy anything from here, so it's good for families. If you want a grown up dessert though, go somewhere else.
The coffee was not fresh and was luke warm but the pastries were all good. Would keep coming back if we are only close by.
