The interior is beautiful, and while the selection of pastries is somewhat limited, they are absolutely delicious. The location is also quite lively and enjoyable. I ordered a chai, which was a bit more bitter than what I'm accustomed to, but it still had a pleasant and mild flavor. The only drawback is that seating is limited—Berkeley students seem to love studying here—and parking can be quite challenging and expensive in Downtown Berkeley.

The service was impeccable and very... read more Wow, this place is fantastic! The atmosphere is charming and rustic, featuring lots of wood—tables, chairs, and wall panels. The service was impeccable and very attentive. I tried the baked ziti, which was delicious with its perfectly crisp top. I also had the mozzarella salad with persimmons and pomegranate, which was delightful. The oysters came with an incredible sauce that complemented them perfectly. I enjoyed a refreshing drink made with lavender, mezcal, and Campari. Everything was just perfect!
