This restaurant offers a sophisticated take on food that feels like a complex study in dynamics and vibrations. Seriously though, I believe this location is superior to the one in San Francisco. The picture showcases a cappuccino and pappardelle with meatballs. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Italian Homemade Company:
I ordered Fettuccine with a Parmesan cream sauce, a pork meatball as a side, and Tagliatelle with Pasticiatta. Overall, it was pretty average. I wonder if the 5-star reviews are for other dishes. The service was quick. At $20 per person, I’m full but not satisfied with the meal. View all feedback.
It was my first time trying the pasta, and unfortunately, it was a poor value. The fresh tagliatelle came in a small portion and lacked enough marinara sauce. I couldn't see any basil in the sauce either. The dried gluten-free fusilli was overcooked, although I did enjoy the pesto. We ended up having to snack two hours later because the portions were so tiny. This pasta might be suitable for children who prefer to avoid visible herbs or vegetables.
We visited as a family and experienced genuinely friendly service, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. The lasagna was still frozen in the center and had to be returned. The pasta was just mediocre at best. Overall, we were quite disappointed and I cannot recommend this restaurant. Food rating: 1/5.
The restaurant offers fantastic and authentic Italian pasta, sandwiches, and salads, along with a small but delightful selection of Italian wines available by the glass or bottle, as well as Italian beer and sodas. The cacio e pepe is creamy and absolutely delicious. The squid ink pasta with baby octopus is often featured on the specials menu, and there are plenty of good vegetarian options available. It's highly recommended for casual dining, providing a laid-back atmosphere where you place your order at the register, and your food is brought to you promptly. You'll just need to return your dishes to the bus station afterward.
2nd time here and loving it. Good selection of pastas and sauces, food came out quickly, and place was clean. Tortellini might have been a bit too al denti but still enjoyable.Street parking can be an issue but we got lucky today.
Some of the best Italian dishes I've had. Ingredients are top quality, portions are generous and staff are friendly. I visit each time in the Bay Area! Drooling as I write this.Food: 5/5
