this is a nice place to sit in berkeley and eat, although I would take a drink elsewhere. my partner and I came here 30-40min before closing and the staff was friendly and fast. the dining room is pleasant and clean. we had the momo sampler, lamb curry and okra. the chicken mamaos were delicious, a hearty mix of aromen in a delicious nudel pack. the lammkur was also very nice, but we would probably not order the okra... I recently dined at A Taste On High and tried the Pumpkin Malai Kofta ($13) which consisted of balls made from mashed homemade cheese, potatoes, nuts, and spices cooked in a creamy sauce. I also ordered the Tofu Saag ($12) which was a fresh spinach stir fry with tofu cubes and assorted spices. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive, and the ambiance was artistic.
This restaurant is amazing! The naan bread is soft and fresh, with a light coating of warm butter. The chicken tikka masala is absolutely delicious! And the mango lassi is so refreshing and creamy. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants!
Wow, I wish there was one in Las Vegas. During my visit to the Bay Area over Labor Day weekend, I decided to try this place on a whim. The wait was surprisingly long, about 20-30 minutes on what I thought would be a slow night, but now I understand why. The wait was definitely worth it! I ordered the chicken rice dish (I forgot the authentic name) and it was absolutely delicious. My friend had the chicken curry and it was the best I've ever had. I will definitely make sure to visit this place again when I return to the Bay Area. I would give it a 9.5 out of 10.
I ordered to take 3 times from Dhruva and every time I was blown away. So we do the mathematics, the 3x5 15 stars. But seriously, I worked for Food Wine Magazine in NYC and Dhruva flavors are remarkable. Every ingredient and I mean everyone is perfectly prepared. Call me for the next class. Thank you for your dedication. We appreciate it.
Delicious goats curry served with rice or naan. They gave me garlic naan on request. The other place I know serves delicious vegan mango Lassi with coconut milk. Very recommended.
