**Dining Delights at [Restaurant Name]**
Once a beloved destination for sushi aficionados, this restaurant has experienced a mix of highs and lows. Many patrons rave about the impressive presentation and variety in dishes, particularly enjoying options like the chirashi don and unique vegetarian rolls. However, some diners express disappointment regarding quality inconsistencies, such as overcooked fish and uninspired flavors. The atmosphere, while cozy, has been described as somewhat bland, reflecting a shift in the dining experience over time. Despite these critiques, loyal customers remain hopeful for a return to glory, drawn back by attentive service and a commitment to quality in many offerings.

They many not offer the best value nor the best quality of sushi in the area but they make awesome presentation of their dishes, have a cosy little shop and keep everything else at a good level. It's a nice place to take colleague for a business lunch orjust enjoy a fancy snack.
My husband, myself and our 2 year old daughter came in on Valentine's day. We didn't have any big expectations but found the food to be so lackluster that we don't think we'll ever come back. I do want to say though that our waitress was attentive andhelpful! First, we ordered the vegetarian gyoza, pan fried. It came with meat inside but that isn't a big deal since we're notactually vegetarian. We also got the salmon and grilled chicken dishes that come with miso, rice, and ginger vegetables. Thesalmon was completely overcooked and very very dry with sugary sweet teriyaki sauce poured on top. Despite it having a differentdescription of sauce and flavors on the menu. Both dishes came with the same teriyaki sauce poured on top. My grilled chickenwas not grilled but seemed to be microwaved. It didn't have any hint of being cooked. It was mostly pink and raw unfortunately. The miso soup was disappointingly an instant miso. Originally we were going to order a sushi roll after these dishes, butdecided not to. The menu had lots of americanized options with cream cheese and things of the like.
Been going here for 3 years and it used to be my favorite place for high quality sushi. Last few times I've been though the fish had tough pieces and I found a scale in the food, which makes it not worth the price. Sad to see such an excellent restaurant godownhill. Will go a few more times to see if it gets better again. Fingers crossed!

Absolutely phenomenal. Tremendous care and attention given to every dish. Beautiful fresh rolls. Our current go-to for all sushi needs in the East Bay!Vegetarian options: Always love finding creative, delicious vegetarian sushi
Have been several times now and they have been consistent with great sushi and attentive service. Vegiterian and cooked roll options are why I love this place since I cannot digest raw fish. Attentive sushi chef and raw fish eating companions have enjoyed every roll.
The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable! The dining experience was amazing, so I highly recommend enjoying your meal on-site rather than opting for takeout. As for vegetarian options, I'm not sure what they have.
We ordered the Golden Gate Bridge roll, the Raiders roll, and the fried spicy tuna roll, and everything was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to return!

This spot is my preferred one. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this one I go the most. The team is very cordial and the food they place on your table is so yummy. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice meal here. I recommend this place with pleasure.
