At first I thought the Berkeley Animal Rights Center, an open community center where activists work on improving the world for all species, couldn't get better. But then came... SNACKTOWN! Whether I'm planning a protest, working on a research paper, or screening a movie with friends, I have all my snack needs met. This is the place to go for snacks and some great everyday foods like soymilk, soups and ramen, vegan meats and cashew cheese, plus lots of cookies, candies, desserts and so many chips! For drinks there is energy drinks, kombucha, yerba mate, califia coffee, sodas, water and chocolate almond milk. Don't miss an event here, they are awesome!

A great place to support all your purchases directly go to supporting the community center and animal rights efforts. Great selection of snacks and frozen foods like gardein and ready to eat meals.
ARC is the first Animal Rights Center in the U.S. run by awesome activists. If you visit the Bay Area or you're lucky enough to live here, ARC is the place you should not miss. This restaurant is a fantastic gathering spot for the community and a great place to buy all your vegan snacks. It's rare to find a place where purchasing goods directly supports animals and the environment. This establishment is at the forefront of improving the lives of farm animals. Visiting here is not just a shopping trip, it can be a transformative experience.
