Great atmosphere and incredibly fresh poke! Everything was delicious, and the salmon was definitely the freshest I've ever had at a poke shop!
Stopped by here on a whim from out of town. Service was super friendly and bowl was very good! Will stop by again if around.Food: 5/5
This used to be my go to spot for poke since I was a student and lived in Berkeley and I really wanted to give it a 4 stars, but my last few orders have been slightly disappointing. In Person Order: My go to fishes are salmon, ahi tuna, and sometimes scallop. I think their salmon is pretty good but sometimes it can be cut very inconsistently. When I came here recently, I ordered the salmon and ahi tuna and the ahi tuna was disappointing it didn't taste as good quality as it used to. They have a very good selection of toppings (I usually get the edamame, cucumbers, cilantro, corn, mango, masago) and sauces and the portions are very very filling. I normally get a medium (includes 3 portions of fish), but if I knew I wanted leftovers, the large is pretty much good for 2 3 meals. Online Order: I'm not sure if I ordered incorrectly or if the system had a problem, or maybe they forgot, but I had errors in my last 2 online orders: (1) did not include any sauces and (2) had no vegetables/toppings. I was sure that I selected everything I wanted during the ordering process, but regardless, I probably won't be ordering online anymore and opting to just go in person. Overall, I would come back to give it another chance, but I still think it's a solid place to come and order poke. The service is very quick (around 5 minutes) and the prices are very fair between $13 17 depending on the size.
The food was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. There was a generous portion, especially given the price. We ordered a large and a medium bowl, and we soon realized we could have managed with a medium and a small. We'll definitely be ordering again!
I received almost no fish and only tiny portions of the side options I selected. While poke spots typically offer smaller portion sizes, this was an entirely different level of stinginess. The fish was also warm and slightly cooked. I wouldn't recommend ordering from here; there are much better options available.
