I think the bahn mi may be over priced at 10 dollars. But the pho I had for the same was really amazing. Usually veggies pho is broccoli, letteuce, carrots and mung bean sprouts. There pho not only had a very light tasty broth that I didn't need to doctor up with condiments. But broccoli, lettuce, carrots, baby corn, green bean, friend onions and usual basil and bean sprouts. This place is absolutely phenomenal! I got the chicken pho, which had a marinated chicken option. Soup broth was very tasty. My husband got the banh mi combo, which comes with a broth soup and an imperial roll. They also have a nice juicer and makes refreshing fruit/veggie juices to round the meal out. I got the Refresher juice which has cucumber, Apple, mint. Service was great too! A lot of natural light in the restaurant. Good vibes. Five members of my family went there late on a Monday night. The staff was very welcoming despite us showing up just an hour before closing time and the room was wonderfully quite. I had been to Chez Panisse Cafe 5 days before, and I preferred the dishes at Mint Leaf, although that's an apples and oranges comparison. My/our favorites at Mint Leaf were eggplant tofu clay pot, green papaya salad with prawns, and if you eat mammal, sizzling shaking beef. I thought their beef combo phô, was good but not as exceptional as the previous dishes. They were very attentive accommodating to the gluten intolerant member of our party Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Dietary restrictions: Accommodating to gluten intolerance.

Good ambient. Their thai tea was awesome. I had a vegetable pho which had flavor but no impressive. I have to come back and find their best plates. ????
Excellent pho. Amazing sweet potato chicken curry. Although?if I?m honest, the chicken was actually my least favorite part. I wonder if they could make that with just vegetables? The curry is phenomenal tho. Must try at least once. We?ll be back.
Not that I want anyone to know, this is among the most overlooked places to eat in Berkeley. Great flavor at low-ish prices with plenty of indoor and outdoor space, easy parking, proximity to BBowl, immaculate large bathrooms for families and family-runitself. This is our go-to as family of four.
I go there very often and they have the best Lemongrass Tofu I ever had. A lot of vegetarian and vegan options. The people who work there are the sweetest people. Do try their ginger lemonade and Vietnamese drip coffee. Very spacious place in a goodlocation and have patio seating too.

I highly recommend the crab soup noodle at Mint Leaf Vietnamese Berkeley. The noodles have a unique, traditional texture that sets them apart from pho. I often order this dish and request to substitute the noodles with pho noodles.
The vegetable broth at Mint Leaf Vietnamese Berkeley is delicious; however, MSG is used in their other broths and soups. I hope they keep the vegetable broth free of MSG.
Mint Leaf Vietnamese Berkeley is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the central business district, close to the upscale grocery store Berkeley Bowl. It had been some time since my last visit, and I was delighted to find that the dining experience was just as enjoyable as before.

I love Mint Leaf! What the food is like:The pho is good. Flavorful enough to not be boring, and plain enough that it is comfortable to eat. I like to get the special rare beef pho.The shaking beef plate might be my favorite when I want to be spoiled. It's basically a plate of big chunks of well-flavored meat (garlic, onion, salt, probably other flavors too . Love the sizzling sound it makes while it is served. The spring rolls are all really lovely, too. They have a lot of crispy textures stuffed into them. Most of the dishes are very flavorful. Some of them are also rich.Online ordering: I appreciate that Mint Leaf recently incorporated the ability to use Online Ordering through GrubHub and other platforms. I love being able to schedule a pick-up time. I used to order via telephone and would ask for extra jalapeños on the side, and they would sometimes be forgotten (totally okay! . Now that I am ordering online, though, there's a printed receipt that shows the request for extra jalapeños. It seems like this has been making it easier for the staff to ensure order quality. The person who is usually behind the counter has been kind enough to double-check that the jalapeños are there when they see the receipt, without me even having to ask.Thank you, Mint Leaf!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options that are available are all so flavorful. There's a few spring roll options and a tofu dish that is tasty.Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly atmosphere.
Hella good food! The Pho is amazing and huge. Everything else on the menu is also fantastic, my family goes here regularly. Super friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend
My girls and I had lunch and everything was good. I searched Google for the closest restaurant near the Berkeley Marina and took a chance at stopping in for the first time. Service was great, food was prepared and served quickly. My daughters know how I feel about a dirty bathroom when eating out. When I say the restroom was clean and smelled fresh. I knew I would enjoy the food.We will be back againParking: Lots of street parking within steps of the front door

I love this place! I have never had a meal here that wasn't great. And I have tried most of their options. Yummy everytime!

However they true stand out for me where these amazing chewy somewhat smoky mushrooms. That together with fried tofu and I was one happy camper. The decore is super clean and modern, with really nice bathrooms, and semi open kitchen.

Decent Vietnamese food. Service is good. They have a patio so you can bring your doggo. Fresh juice available too!
Good solid food and service. Ingredients seem above standard, which makes sense since it's down the street from Berkeley Bowl.
Mint Leaf is a clamp in the area. For Vietnamese cuisine it is a bit expensive, but compared to the area, it is one of the most valuable restaurants. Your service is so fast even at lunchtime. I have the Saigon rice plate with grilled pork every time I left. I wanted to try other things on the menu, but I can't stop saving the rice plate. But that only means I have to be here more often. I'm so glad this place is here.

Good environment. Your Thai tea was great. I had a vegetable pho that had taste, but no impressive. I have to come back and find her best plates.
Absolutely amazing! You can enjoy their food inside or outside in their spacious patio. A lot of Vietnamese salad selections and their sweet potato chicken curry was amazing! Can?t wait to come back
Mint Leaf is a staple in the area. For Vietnamese cuisine, it is a tad bit expensive but compared to the area, it's one of the more value restaurants. Their service is so quick even around the lunch rush time. I've gotten the Saigon Rice Plate with Grilled Pork every time I've went. I've been wanting to try other things on the menu but I can't stop craving the rice plate. But that just means I need to go here more times. I'm so glad this place is around.
Excellent. Amazing sweet potato chicken curry. Although? If I'm honest, the chicken was actually my favorite part. I wonder if they could do this with just vegetables? The curry is phenomenal. At least try. We?
