The atmosphere is seriously lacking as is the energy of the employees. Feels more like a gulag. I have eaten here in and off over the years. Their portions are small for the price but generally tasty. I did get food poisoning once from it. The owner was in big denial when I told him but did give me a refund. It was the only thing I’d eaten. I LOVE the ease of parking. This place is generally a good choice especially out of convenience. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
My favorite poke spot in the area! Great fresh fish with many different options. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20
Unexpectedly visited twice — both times they were closed, despite Google showing them as open. Very frustrating experience, especially when planning a meal based on their listed hours. Would recommend calling ahead, as online info seems unreliable. Service: Takeaway Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Food was decent but bad service. I?ve been eating here for a year and macaroni salad doesn?t taste like it used to. When I called yesterday to give constructive criticism respectfully, the guy got really defensive and had an attitude. That guycould?ve just said ?thank you for your feedback? even if they don?t wanna change. Well they lost a customer
Fresh and really tasty ingredients. They give good portions for the price too. The spicy garlic edamame is really tasty. I like their selection of drinks too, got to try something new. Definitely a solid poki place.

This restaurant is exceptional. The toppings, flavors, freshness, and portion sizes are all amazing. I truly believe that this is the best Poki I have ever had, even compared to those in Hawaii. I have been here about 10 times and it has always been consistently fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly and my order is always prepared promptly. My only small criticism would be that it would be great to see some new side options, but that is really a minor issue. I highly recommend this place.
Favorite Poki spot in the East Bay. Service is great, they’re fast, always get my order correct and the price is affordable. In the last few meals I’ve picked up the portions leave a lot to be desired. I’ll chock it up to an honest mistake.Food: 5/5
Good and healthy food, friendly staff. You choose from lists of healthy fresh ingredients to make a customized bowl, with a good variety of sauces and toppings.Vegetarian options: Basic veggie options, not much variety
Ordered online. Food was ready when I arrived. Staff was helpful. I order the bowl w/three proteins. I got salmon poke, Hamachi, poke,, and spicy tuna. The salmon was by far my favorite. I love hamachi nigiri but did not enjoy the hamachi poke. The spick tuna was fine, I would not choose again. The wakame, sushi rice, greens, veg, sauces, etc were 10/10. My food was super yummy and would definitely return. Quality of the fish was great and the price point was reasonable.

I dine at Hashtag Poki frequently, and I genuinely believe it offers the best poke in the Oakland/Berkeley area when considering price, portion size, quality, flavor, and service. I’m usually quite pleased with my meals. However, I wanted to provide some feedback: my dinner order tonight had a strong lemon flavor, making the avocados taste as if they had been soaked in lemon juice, and the shrimp seemed a bit off. I understand that lemon juice helps prevent avocado from browning over time, but the citrus flavor was a bit overpowering in my bowl. It's possible the flavors were affected since I ordered a late dinner close to closing time— I usually come for lunch, and I'm wondering if food handling or storage practices change later in the evening. Just a small note for the team. Thanks!
Fantastic poke spot with a Hawaiian twist, like their macaroni salad. The portion sizes are decent for the price, and they offer an impressive selection of mix-ins with a well-considered presentation of sides, rice, and greens. I highly recommend trying the crab salad as a side!
The fish was incredibly fresh, and I found the seasonings on both the rice and fish to be excellent. I ordered brown rice, salmon, albacore, and shrimp, along with a seaweed salad and edamame. I took a photo of my takeout, but unfortunately, the nice presentation got a bit messed up when I dropped it.
For those new to this cuisine, Hashtag Poki is a fast-casual spot specializing in traditional Hawaiian-style raw fish salads served over rice, topped with your choice of fresh seafood, and mixed with some veggies. It's a fresh, healthy, and tasty option. However, the menu is limited when it comes to hot, cooked dishes. I was hoping to find a simple cooked chicken over rice but discovered they don’t offer that. Still, their poki bowls are flavorful. I especially enjoyed the seaweed and crab salad sides. The staff provided excellent service—they were patient, helpful, and clearly explained how to build your bowl. The mini bowl size was surprisingly filling, and prices were reasonable. Just a heads up: parking is only available on the street.
