Pretty dang good Thai food in a casual space for reasonable prices. I'm on my way to being a regular here, though I probably wouldn't visit so often if it wasn't so close to Bart and my house View all feedback.
What Alexander Mackey doesn't like about Giin Thai Canteen:
The staff is very nice, but the food was very lackluster. A meal is affordable, but the portions are on the smaller side. There's a counter that you order from, and that's basically the whole place (not really a sit-down place, if that's your thing). All things considered, I'd say this place lies somewhere between bad and average. View all feedback.
Surprised at how low the rating is for this place! Great tasting Thai food! The BBQ Chicken over fried rice was particularly delicious. Update 11/1/22: so sad to see that Giin is temporarily closing : hope it comes back nearby soon!
This place wont pick up the phone. Guess Ill eat some where else AGAIN. I used to eat hear a lot. Not so much since their hours are never right.
Food was subpar. Cashier was not very attentive or welcoming. Cook wasn’t wearing a mask and she was yelling and swearing in the kitchen. Won’t be back
Nice local place for Thai food. Love the khao soi and thr pumpkin curry.
Fantastic, friendly place with a great menu of tasty Thai dishes. Stoped in for a dessert take out of mango sticky rice and it was perfect!! Fresh mangos with warm sweet sticky rice. YUM. Right now they're only doing take out of course, but everything seemed clean inviting.
