What Elisabeth Leannon dislikes about Cornerstone:
Great venue, nice menu but VERY frustrating I can't make a reservation to ensure a nice night out. I have a group of 10 gals gathered to go to a show on a Saturday night, and our choices are: A) Take our chances we'll get a tableB) Get there super early and twiddle our thumbs for a couple of hours before the show startsI'm more likely to book a table at another spot nearby that will make a reservation. The woman and I had a concert here and decided to try the food before the show. The beer selection is extensive, with over 20 selections of craft IPAs, Hazys, lagoons and pilgrims. And also a wide range of darks. Oh, and the cedar too! If you need to row your belly before the imbibing, there is a good selection of bar food options: mixing and match meat and cheese boards and sausage boards, appetizers such as nachos, wings and more. Oh, and a few salad choices. Larger appetites can be tamed with hot sandwiches, burgers or nets consisting of fish and chips, chicken pot cakes, ribs or a huge 2/2 pound meat ball. Really! The bar area is very large with many peripheral seats. The music Ben is a certain plus and Uber comfortable. We enjoyed our burgers and sandwiches. The waiting staff is quite efficient and friendly and the location is ideal for a social meeting. Parking is not a problem and is usually a short walking distance away. We'll be back.
Great place to have craft beer, cocktail or a glass of wine. I enjoyed watching the Warrior game on a cold week day night with a local IPA. The service was excellent. On two separate occasions I tried the BLT salad with add chicken a burger. The food is comfort, pub grub. The salad was large with egg, tomato's, chicken croutons. The burger was juicy flavorful. The ambiance is red brick, open pretty loud. They offer live music next door which seems like it would be a great venue to see a band.

This restaurant and its staff are exceptional! They helped me retrieve a ring that I had treasured, and I truly appreciate their assistance. The food is fantastic, with a variety of great options to choose from. I had the diving sandwich, which was delicious, and the fries were just right. Being right next to a show makes it convenient to enjoy a meal as part of the experience. The beer selection is impressive, too! The place is very clean and immaculate, especially for a club atmosphere.

A great addition to the Bay Area club scene. The restaurant is excellent as is the beer selection. The concert venue is a nice intimate size holding around 300 at capacity. Definitely worth checking out.
Everything about this place is fantastic, the food, the beer, the service, the venue and the show! We saw Wolf Alice last night and had a great time.
Went to GBH had a blast! Friendly staff, great craft beer selection and hardly any security. Less the better. Vibe all night between band and fans was electric. Awesome place to see a gig!
Didn’t get a chance to experience the food side of this place but the venue attached to it was great! Very clean and all of the bartenders and security at the door were excellent. Felt very welcome.
This place is amazing! I initially came for the music, which sounds incredible in this cozy setting, but I ended up staying for the food and beer too! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Everything we tasted—both the food and the beer—was exceptional. I will definitely be returning to Cornerstone the next time I'm in Berkeley.

I saw Trevor Hall for my first visit to the Cornerstone. Had a $10 beer and enjoyed the show. Nice small venue. Had to stand up for the entire show about 3 hrs.
Friendly bar that?s really spacious! The outdoor patio area is nice and isolated so you can still hear your friends. Definitely check out the music area near the bathrooms ABBA night is actually the best thing ever. I can?t believeI?ve been coming here for 2 years before ever experiencing it! Tickets can be bought online. I?ve also been to social eventshere (weekend brunch for a local club, society). In the mornings, it?s a really nice vibe with delicious ciders and IPAs on tap! They also make a terrific mixed drink. If you host an event here, there are also often special requests that can be made (ex.Custom cocktail).
Great bar, amazing venue! Since they also serve as a restaurant bar there is a place to sit and wait for venue doors to open as long as you buy a little snack or a beer! The stage curves and the barricade curves around it so there's more room foreverybody to enjoy a close view :
Had beer, a cider, a burger, and a concert. Beer was really good, burger was delicious, the concert was a great venue. Not many seats in the concert area, but that is to be expected. Sound was great.
Great place to see live shows. Parking can be problematic. Sometimes you can get lucky and find a spot in front. Sometimes you'll have to park way over yonder and walk to the venue. Lots of beers on tap. Bartenders aren't always paying attention, soyou will have to flag them down. Usually more than once. Even if it's not busy. Music venue is nice. Bathrooms are reasonablyclean too.
