A great spot to hang out with friends. The last time I was here, I got the Menghai Puerh and it was grounding and delicious. It doesn’t have a lot of caffeine and only takes 15 secs to steep. The Wild Forest Puerh is also really good. They have little GF mochi muffins (the one that’s purple on the inside is amazing) and other nice snacks. It’s bright and there are a lot of plants inside, which makes for a really cool... View all feedback.
What ROSE MARY DA ROSA ALVES doesn't like about Blue Willow Teaspot:
Looked pretty in person but was misled by the positive reviews. I was disappointed with the service and management. Tea was okay. Wish I could get a refund. Hopefully they address this major issue View all feedback.
I was excited to visit Blue Willow Tea with my friends, but unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations due to poor customer service and misleading information on the website. We had booked a private room in advance but encountered several issues upon arrival. First, we were not greeted and had to get the staff’s attention ourselves to confirm our reservation. The staff seemed surprised and simply handed us one menu for the four of us, pointing us towards the private room from the bar without escorting us. After waiting 20 minutes in the room without any service, we went to the bar to inquire about the tea service process. We were informed that staff members are not allowed in the private room and that we needed to come to the bar for service. This was not communicated to us beforehand. We also inquired about the details of our reservation, particularly whether it included any teas. The staff seemed unsure and said they would check the website. It appeared that they lacked proper training, and no manager was present to offer guidance. The website advertises "a commitment to helping customers find the beauty in every sip,” but we did not receive any information or guidance on the teas. We were hoping for an informative experience where we could learn more about the different teas available, but this was not provided. If you are looking for a tearoom with knowledgeable staff who can offer a learning experience about teas, I would suggest trying a different establishment. Based on this visit, I cannot recommend this tearoom and will not be returning.
Beautiful concept, I can’t wait to visit the store front. Bluewillow Tea’s online platform has it all and the customer service is the best! Can’t wait to continue to grow through tea with her!
A great dynamic spot. sunny outdoor seating. friendly staff. calm laid-back social hall. theres a secluded group room. the selection is great. definitely making this a regular spot.
The value is in the atmosphere. The service and drink quality are really lacking
Wonderful tea house with an amazing selection of all kinds of high quality teas, and a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. Initially I thought looking at the website that they had a more limited selection without any herbal teas. Once at the shop though I realized that wasn’t the case at all and have a massive selection. I had a wonderful Chinese inspired blend with chrysanthemum, Goji berries, and mint. It was a perfect rejuvenating tonic for me as I was recovering from a mild cold. Looking forward to coming back to try more great tea; definitely a great place more a more in depth conversation or drop in. It’s just off of San Pablo Ave and relatively easy to find parking.
